What is the Conservatory Program? Motion41's Conservatory is a dance program
designed to guide the serious student in a focused curriculum that will enhance their future in
the world of dance. Each level has a mandatory set of core classes and elective classes that
the dancer is receiving the strongest foundation possible and taking enough classes per week
to maximize their potential. The "Classical Focus" has more of an emphasis on ballet and
pointe, and the "Contemporary Focus" offers more of an emphasis on jazz and contemporary
dance, although both programs feature classes in the main disciplines.
Why should I participate? Besides being a wonderful basis for your dancer's education
and growth, the Conservatory offers several other incentives. Elective classes are $5 off of
the regular price, registration is discounted by $5, participation in the Repertory Ensemble or
Jr. Repertory Ensemble is discounted, you can receive $5 off of up to 5 costumes for the
school's annual recital, and you can still receive your 10% or 20% discount if the dancer is
taking 3 or more or 6 or more classes!
How do I participate? Any of Motion41's students can participate. Call the Office at
402-884-4142 or stop by during business hours to speak with a staff member who can guide
you to the best fit for your dancer, depending on their interests, age, and experience.
